In the lands overlooking the Mediterranean coast there is a thousand year old tree of extraordinary appearance. When it blossoms, it affords us spectacular and insuperable beauty. It is a unique gift, difficult to surpass, for the eyes that are given the opportunity to see it: the almond tree.
This gives us a nut that is a highly recommended primary source of nutrition: the almond.
With this noble origin, we make two types of product that are the same yet different.
The first is characterized by tradition, by making time for yourself, wanting to infinitely enjoy and savour possibilities and feelings: our creams to dissolve in water, coffee, tea, malt, etc. or to use in delicious recipes.
The second is characterized by immediacy, quickness, ease, etc. but without neglecting the search for healthy foods: our almond milk packaged in tetra-brick
. Their purpose is to give the consumer of either of the two varieties the possibility to enjoy an excellent product with a great many properties that are beneficial to the body, as well as an exquisite, refreshing beverage, or comforting drink if heated first.
ALMENDRINA: a product made from almonds, a nut characteristic of the Mediterranean diet.
Almonds have a high monounsaturated fat content, a moderate amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids and no cholesterol, which make them a food with an optimal lipid profile according to current recommendations for reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
It is important to emphasize their high content of linoleic acid (omega 6) which is an essential fatty acid that the body does not synthesize on its own and therefore must be obtained through a proper diet.
Vitamin E
ALMENDRINA has a notable content of vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant. This is an essential function in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Source of Calcium
Although the almond is the richest in calcium of all nuts, a glass of ALMENDRINA almond milk provides less calcium than a glass of cow’s milk.

ALMENDRINA is an important source of fibre, which is vital for a balanced diet.
Low in Sodium
The low sodium content of ALMENDRINA allows it to be enjoyed by people on a salt-restricted diet such as people suffering from arterial hypertension.
An easily digested food
Almond milk is often used as a substitute for milk in easy-to-digest diets for several reasons: the absence of lactose, which can cause digestive difficulties and the fact that it contains very little fat to facilitate digestion, among others.
High energy content
The high energy content of ALMENDRINA makes it a recommended product for people whose regular diet does not provide them with much energy due to appetite loss, weight loss, etc.
It is also suitable for people who have high energy needs due to: growth, adolescence, strenuous physical labour, pregnancy, nursing, etc.

Lactose-free
People who are lactose intolerant and cannot have milk can use ALMENDRINA as a substitute, but remember that it does not provide as much calcium as cow’s milk.
Gluten-free
People with arteria celiaca are gluten intolerant. Gluten is a protein that is found in some grains and that is used as an additive in many foods. People with arteria celiaca have to strictly exclude it from their diet. ALMENDRINA is recommended for this group of people because it does not contain gluten.
